Katie Finneran Wins Her Second Tony Award-2010

Katie Finneran makes it to the Tony Awards again. The actress who received the 2002 Tony Award under the category of Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in “Noises Off”, took the stage once again on Sunday to receive the award for her performance in the musical “Promises, Promises”.
When she came on to the stage to receive the award for Best Featured Actor’ in a musical, Finneran uttered the words of thanks to her friends and family, co-star Kristin Chenoweth and Sean Hayes. She dedicated this trophy to his fiancé, Darren Goldstein whom she just got engaged with. Describing how the engagement happened, Katie expressed Darren asked her to marry him and she accepted his proposal. This is Katie Finnernan’s second trophy at Tony Awards. Previously she had fetched it in 2002 for the play ‘Noises Off’.
